ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS

I am a Colorado native and spent my childhood in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Growing up, I didn’t always know what I wanted to do, but I was blessed to have successful parents as examples of what was possible in my own life and career.

My mother is the chief financial officer for the Colorado Beef Council, and my father has several successful businesses in the gaming industry. Having met when they were students at the University of Colorado Boulder, they spent their lives building their American Dream. This is one of the things I admired most about my parents and was determined to attain for myself. I realized they had built their careers and had the most success serving and educating others.

As I finished my studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, it was still unclear to me what my path would be. After working in various industries, it became apparent that helping others and adding value to their lives was important to me. I enjoy being needed and making a difference.

I started with FFG shortly after finishing college and within three years, I was promoted to Vice President of Marketing and New Business. I attribute my success to a few key factors:

Kindness.

I abide by the golden rule: treat others the way you want to be treated. It’s a simple philosophy, yet something I try to implement in every aspect of my life, especially when working with clients. I invest the necessary time to truly find out who you are. What are your goals, ambitions and dreams? All of these are important to the planning process.

Staying Current.

I’ve heard it said that change is the only constant. As the world of finance continually changes, my goal is to ensure I stay educated. I set high standards for myself, and I’m willing to work harder than most to keep up with the latest in the world of finance.

Education.

I am an educator for my clients. As an insurance professional, one of the greatest joys of my career is being able to teach clients new concepts and ideas — many of which they never knew existed. I get excited about the possibilities that are out there for my clients’ future. I work with people wanting a better life, and it’s exciting that I get to help show clients how to do it.

Appreciation.

I regularly take stock in my life and appreciate everything about it, and I try to help my clients and their families do the same. When clients say, “Mandy, I am sending my granddaughter over to you. She just graduated from college and needs to start thinking about her future, ” I’m truly flattered that clients trust us enough to consistently refer their family and friends to FFG!
